Foxy Ladies …
From 1999 to 2000, Bethany Joy Lenz appeared in a one-year run of the off-Broadway cabaret musical “Foxy Ladies Love/Boogie 70′s Explosion“ at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre, 61 Christopher Street, in the heart of Greenwich Village.
This 85-minute revue traced the changes in women in the 1970s through an extensive selection of pop, rock, folk, disco and even TV theme songs, and paid tribute to female legends the likes of Cher, Donna Summer, Joni Mitchell, Barbara Streisand and Patti Smith. The show incorporated 43 songs and 46 costume changes!
The show was very popular and played to sold-out audiences.
