Introduced to Love146.org by bandmate, Amber Sweeney, Bethany Joy Galeotti has been actively supporting this international human rights organization largely through social media outlets. Love146 works toward the abolition of child sex slavery and exploitation through prevention and aftercare solutions while contributing to a growing abolition movement.
Restore NYC
Bethany Joy Galeotti also supports Restore NYC, a non-profit organization that restores freedom, safety and hope to foreign-born survivors of sex trafficking by providing long-term, holistic aftercare services. They partner with local and federal officials and other organizations to empower survivors and facilitate the prosecution of traffickers.
Lark
On June 12, 2011, through her official Twitter account, Galeotti revealed details of her newest project; an online boutique called Lark. The boutique sells apparel with original designs by Galeotti and all proceeds benefit Love146, To Write Love On Her Arms, as well as Reading is Fundamental.
